Going wild

Tūhura Otago Museum staff (from left) Max Levitt-Campbell, Charlie Buchan and Ashley Stewart show off their wild side as they prepare for tomorrow’s Pyjamarama party.

The popular night time pyjama party returns tomorrow from 6pm to 8pm with the theme of taking a walk on the wild side.

Marketing manager Kate Oktay said the event — recommended for children aged 3-12, accompanied by an adult — included storytelling with Mark Neilson, making an animal mask, enjoying a wild disco boogie and uncovering juicy facts from the museum’s collection.

Children were encouraged to dress as an escaped zoo animal or wear their best pyjamas and bring a torch for a night of animal discovery.
