It's all in a new video (see here: warning - contains nudity) benefiting the Marina Abramovic Institute.
In it, the pop star, 27, starts out fully clothed in an all-white jumpsuit, chanting a single note for more than 30 seconds. She continues making the noise while putting herself in a variety of different settings, included strolling naked through the woods.
"Last week at a three-day retreat in upstate New York, Marina instructed Lady Gaga in the Abramovic Method - a series of exercises designed to heighten participants' awareness of their physical and mental experience in the present moment," says a note with the video on VIMEO.
Gaga is seen practising the 66-year-old Serbian performance artist's "method," including sitting back-to-back with Marina before a lake.
Slated to take the stage on Aug. 25 at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, Gaga had said in an earlier statement that her new album would find her working with a number of art-world luminaries.
