Party princess Paris Hilton is set to fly to Sydney today to celebrate the New Year.
The heiress arrived in Melbourne from Los Angeles yesterday to a huge media throng and a handful of adoring male fans.
She burst through the Melbourne Airport arrival doors wearing a pale blue tracksuit with its hood pulled over her head, trademark giant sunnies and a red bag bearing her signature statement, "That's hot".
She was accompanied by her younger sister Nicky, manager Mike Heller and new friend Brittany Flickinger, who won the MTV reality show Paris Hilton's My New BFF (Best Friend Forever).
Hilton will see in 2009 at a New Year's Eve party at Sydney nightspot Trademark, which will be streamed over the internet.
