Ready to strut their stuff at the iD Fashion Emerging Designer Awards are Barbara Brinsley (81), and Cassidy Senior (22), of Dunedin.

Both will be modelling at the event, which will held at the Otago Polytechnic tomorrow night.

A runway show including the four New Zealand finalists’ collections and those of alumni of past shows, will be hosted at Otago Polytechnic.

A 40-minute video, made by video-production house NHNZ, will showcase the remaining 28 finalists and their collections, before the winners are announced.

As a result of Covid-19, the awards were moved partially online, enabling remote judging by 16 judges from five countries.

Tickets for the show are available through Eventfinda.

Our journalists are your neighbours

We are the South's eyes and ears in crucial council meetings, at court hearings, on the sidelines of sporting events and on the frontline of breaking news.

As our region faces uncharted waters in the wake of a global pandemic, Otago Daily Times continues to bring you local stories that matter.

We employ local journalists and photographers to tell your stories, as other outlets cut local coverage in favour of stories told out of Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

You can help us continue to bring you local news you can trust by becoming a supporter.
