Afife Harris's regular customers at the Otago Farmers Market will be delighted to know hummus, tabbouleh and falafels are back on her stall of Lebanese specialties.
The market trust requires vendors to get approval for all items they sell.
Another stall selling the same items had queried whether she had approval for them.
The market manager told her to stop selling them as she had no approval to do so, though she had been selling them since 2006.
Paul Crack, chairman of the trust, says it was an unfortunate administrative error in that the market had no record of its approval.
The administration was now run in a more businesslike way.
When Mrs Harris produced an email with the approvals, the market administration held to that.
