Botanical Society of Otago presents a talk on the annual Fungal Foray in Pohara, Golden Bay, by Dr David Orlovich, of the University of Otago botany department. 5.20pm, Zoology Benham Building, 346 Great King St, behind the Zoology car park by the Captain Cook Hotel. Dunedin Rhododendron Group meets at 7.30pm at the Sargood Centre, Logan Park Dr. Speaker Dr Yolanda van Heezik, of Otago University, on a multidisciplinary study of 55 Dunedin gardens.

Architecture and building records in the Hocken Collections, a lecture by archivist David Murray about the plans, specifications and other records held by the Hocken and how they can be used to discover the histories of buildings. Otago Museum Barclay Theatre at 5.30pm.
