‘The Star’ delivery stopped in some areas

Allied Press, due to economic pressure, has stopped home delivery in some of the outlying areas of Dunedin for the weekly The Star newspaper.

It is still being home-delivered to the majority of Dunedin and Mosgiel urban areas.

In the areas where home delivery has been discontinued, the following alternative outlets have been organised:

Macandrew Bay and Company Bay: Macandrew Bay Store.

Portobello and Broad Bay: Portobello Store.

Sawyers Bay, St Leonards, Ravensbourne, Maia: Ravensbourne Convenience Store.

Port Chalmers: Port Chalmers Four Square, Windsor on the Spot.

Brighton: Brighton Store.

Ocean View: Turning Tides.

Outram: Mitchell’s Food Store and Rosy Posy store.

North Dunedin student area: New World Gardens.

Lower Oval area/ Below the Town Belt: Regent Theatre, Otago Daily Times office in Stuart St.

Mosgiel: Mosgiel Public Library, East Taieri Dairy, Mosgiel Countdown, Mosgiel New World.

Green Island: Fresh Choice Green Island.

Middlemarch RD: Middlemarch Store.

South Dunedin: Edgar Centre, Camp Store.

Karitane: Old Karitane Store.

Waikouaiti: Waikouaiti Food Centre, Blueskin General Store.

Waihola: Waihola Store.
