Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision near East Taieri, which resulted in an altercation between the two drivers.
A Police spokeswoman said a truck and a car collided on State Highway 1, between Riccarton Rd East and Gladfield Rd, about 7.15pm.
"There looks to have been some sort of altercation."
She said no-one was injured.
