One person was transported to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle crashed into traffic lights.
Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said police were called to the crash in Wharf St, Dunedin, about 10.30pm on Monday.
The motorcyclist, "going a bit quicker than the speed limit", lost control at the intersection with Kitchener St and ended up on the footpath before hitting the traffic light pole.
A blood sample was taken as a matter of course and a 30-year-old man was transported to hospital by ambulance, Snr Sgt Bond said. — Allied Media
