Dr Baldwin visited the Otago Corrections Facility in Milburn almost a year ago to deliver one of his "very non-PC" talks on how to be a "healthy bastard".
The documentary contains a clip of Dr Baldwin addressing the inmates, and he is later shown running away from the prison, saying "Get me out of here."
Part of the soundtrack's lyrics also feature the prison, including reference to "sitting here in Milton" where "all the bad boys go" and where there "ain't much sunshine and the winters are all snow".
Wanaka and Omarama are among the South Island places visited by Dr Baldwin on his quest for the "healthiest bastard in the bush".
Sir Tim Wallis, of Wanaka, one of the many questioned about what makes a healthy bastard, considered exercising and eating properly were important.
Dr Baldwin, who regularly flies to the South in his Cessna to undertake medical checks for pilots in rural areas, has been using his down-to-Earth humour to draw attention to men's health.
He said many of the country's terrible health statistics were largely due to self-neglect and he was trying to get men to regard their bodies as a well-designed machine and something worthy of regular maintenance.
He described the "continuing national disgrace of premature onset of disease and early death" as having huge implications for the country, not only in financial terms, but in the "pure misery and sadness that develops among the people involved".
