Crowds were out to get a bargain at the Radio One Market Day in Dunedin.

Otago University Students’ Association events co-ordinator Shannon van Rooijen said yesterday's event, held in the University of Otago’s Union Courtyard, drew a mixture of students and members of the public.

"We have 23 stalls ... ranging from students selling their wardrobes, to jewellery, art and tarot reading," she said.

Music and giveaways were also part of the event, held for the third time this year.

"It’s always great to see our stallholders returning time and time again, and the smiles on everyone’s faces when they find something they love."

The final market day will take place on September 28.
