Break-ins on Monday

Police are seeking information after three daylight burglaries on Monday.

Between 8.20am and 1pm a home on St Clair Close, Corstorphine, was broken into. Jewellery, cash, sunglasses and a watch were taken.

Down the hill in Forbury a Helena St address was broken into between 8.30am and 7pm. Samsung tablets and phones were taken, along with an Xbox 360.

In South Dunedin, a Victoria Rd home was burgled between 11.30am and 5pm. A cellphone and tools were taken.

Senior Sergeant Ben Butterfield said there had been no reported sightings and it was possible all three break-ins were linked.

''Someone's got to know something about someone who's come home with a large amount of property that doesn't belong to them.''

Windows were smashed to gain access to the properties.

Dunedin police (03) 471-4800, Crimestoppers 0800-555-111.
