Four youths seen tampering with a car in Mosgiel have been apprehended by a police dog team,  as officers uncover another treasure trove of stolen loot in Dunedin.

Acting Inspector Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said the young people, two male and two female, were reported to be tampering with the car in Argyle St about 4am Wednesday morning

They were located by patrol dog teams and taken to Dunedin Central Station, were they were dealt with by Youth Aid, Insp Dinnissen said.
