Two Dunedin teenagers were arrested at the weekend for two unprovoked assaults last week.
Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said the two 17-year-old males were involved in one assault at a Dunedin McDonald's last Wednesday and one on the footbridge across the tracks next to the Dunedin Railway Station the following day.
Both attacks were random and unprovoked, Sr Sgt Dinnissen said.
Both men were also in breach of bail.
They will appear in the Dunedin District court today.
