A reshuffle of responsibilities follows the death of Cr Jules Radich earlier this year and the election of Cr Galer in a by-election last month.
A report for today’s council meeting said Crs Galer and Lund would jointly lead the heritage portfolio.
Cr Galer is a trustee for the Southern Heritage Trust.
The report said Cr Brent Weatherall would lead the infrastructure portfolio and deputy mayor Cherry Lucas would be the portfolio deputy.

Mr Radich’s other appointments will be taken on by Ms Barker (Dunedin Chinese Garden advisory board), Cr Weatherall (Dunedin Public Art Gallery acquisitions committee, alongside Cr Steve Walker) and Cr Galer (Dunedin Public Art Gallery Society, alongside Crs Doug Hall and Weatherall), as well as Cr Galer joining Cr Christine Garey on the Theomin Gallery management committee (Olveston).
Cr Galer would replace Cr Walker as the council’s representative on the Hereweka Harbour Cone Trust.
The council has also been asked to approve Crs Garey and Mandy Mayhem being appointed its representatives on the Creative Dunedin advisory group and Cr Mayhem being its representative on the Creative New Zealand grants advisory group.
