Two bottle-nosed dolphins jump from the water "just outside" Taiaroa Head about 11am yesterday.
Rhian Hinkley, of Melbourne, captured the scene on trip on a Port To Port Cruises & Wildlife Tour boat as dolphins swam nearby for about half an hour.

"We just happened to be out there and it was an amazing pod of dolphins," said Mr Hinkley, who is originally from Dunedin, and is visiting his father, who is unwell.
He arrived in New Zealand four weeks ago and after two weeks in quarantine has been staying in Karitane.
