A teen who took several MDMA capsules was taken to hospital during a busy night for Dunedin police.
A 17-year-old male was taken from Leith St to Dunedin Hospital's emergency department by police at 10pm yesterday, after he took the party drug. He was also intoxicated, Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said.
Police also helped carry an intoxicated woman who had fallen over at a party in Cargill St up the stairs to a waiting ambulance at 11.45pm.
Meanwhile, two 18-year-olds who decided to take a selfie with a wheelie bin on top of a car at 12.45am today would be referred to the Proctor.
An 18-year-old man was also arrested after throwing a bottle at a passing alcohol prevention team van in Leith St at 12.35am.
