Consultants about to begin a review of the activities of the Dunedin City Council's vehicle fleet and parking department will come from Deloitte's Dunedin office.
It emerged this week the council had hired the independent financial consulting company to do the work.
That followed recent speculation there were concerns regarding financial issues within Citifleet and Citipark.
A council spokesman said yesterday two Deloitte staff from Dunedin would undertake the review.
The spokesman said the review was expected to take about two months.
He said Citifleet was responsible for the management of all council vehicles, the operation of an internal courier service and an internal chauffeuring service.
The fleet included cars, utes, trucks, motorcycles, vans and trailers, plant and machinery.
