Two Otago Museum science engagement team proposals to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment's 'unlocking curious minds' fund have been successful.
Both proposals were developed in collaboration with the Dodd Walls Centre, museum director Dr Ian Griffin said in a report.
One project, ''Extreme Science-Taking Science to the Chathams'' gained a $9800 grant and will result in an educational trip to the Chathams later this year.
The other project, ''Science Playground'', gained $14,900 and will result in science-themed playground equipment and associated material being developed.
