Grants Braes opens extra classrooms for expanding roll

Mr Taylor said the school’s board of trustees recognised the need for more classrooms last year as the school’s roll continued to grow after establishing an enrolment zone.

Two prefabricated classrooms were found in Timaru, and with joint funding from the Ministry of Education and the board of trustees, they were refurbished into what is now the school’s new junior classroom block.

The school  has 235 pupils.
