Enjoying a pint after exams and getting ready to watch the All Whites’ first World Cup match are University of Otago third-year commerce students from the Bay of Plenty (from left) Richard Cunliffe, Jose Farrell, Daniel O’Neill-Prosser and Archie Glubb.

The four students sat their last exam yesterday morning and decided to watch the match between the All Whites and Iran, which ended in a 2-2 draw, at a bar in the Octagon.

A few bars in the wider Octagon area had the game on, but a chilly Tuesday afternoon in June did not draw in a large number of punters.

The next game for the All Whites is against Egypt on Monday at 1pm.
