Have house, will travel

A Fulton Hogan truck hauls a house salvaged from Christchurch's red zone along Cumberland St on its way to Fairfield yesterday.

Fulton Hogan heavy haulage assistant manager Mark Sadgrove said a team of four workers started preparing the house for relocation in Christchurch on Monday.

It took all of Thursday and much of yesterday to move it from Christchurch to Fulton Hogan's stock yard in Fairfield, where it would be put up for sale, he said.
