Airport traffic was backed on Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash closed a lane of State Highway 1, near Mosgiel.

Police received a report of the crash at the intersection of Main South Rd (SH1) and Gladfield Rd about 10.50am.

There were no reports of injuries.

The road reopened about 11.50am.

Earlier, police attended a two-vehicle crash Allanton about 5am.

Police and a St John ambulance responded. One person was treated for moderate injuries. — Allied Media
