Imagining world of the future

Secondary school pupils (from left) Bradley Tetlow (14) and Amy Fang (15), of Dunstan High School, Joanna Liu (13), of Columba College, and Terry Heppel Pukehika (15), of Lawrence Area School, participate in an Otago Polytechnic holiday programme which explores what our world will look like in the year 2045.

The Imagining the Future programme encouraged the pupils to consider what technology might be available, what jobs people would do, and what part virtual reality would play in daily life.

Overall, the programme was designed to prepare the pupils for how  their lives might be in the future.
