A Christchurch youth will appear in the Youth Court in Dunedin today after being charged with unlawfully interfering with a motor vehicle.
Senior Sergeant Craig Brown, of Dunedin, said police charged two Christchurch youths, both aged 16, with interfering with a car in Ashmore St, Halfway Bush, on Saturday night.
The pair appeared in the Youth Court yesterday.
One was remanded in custody to appear in the Youth Court today.
The other was released on bail, Snr Sgt Brown said.
