Attorney-general Chris Finlayson QC addresses the 220 guests at Downie Stewart Lawyers 150th anniversary celebration at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum last night.

Organiser, lawyer Chanel Gardner, said she was pleased with the event. The company traces its origins to William Downie Stewart. Only 21 partners have practised at the firm since 1867.
