A Mercedes Benz had an expensive tangle with a logging truck on State Highway 1, just south of Mosgiel, yesterday afternoon.
No-one was injured in the 3pm incident near Quarry Rd, but both sides of the car were damaged - the passenger side extensively.
The damaged car was quickly towed away and traffic was flowing normally soon afterwards.
The crash scene was near where wire rope lane divider fencing was installed a few weeks ago, at a narrow section of road.
