Muslim food shared

Umaima Khatoon (left) and Aoiba Khan enjoy a selection of food from Muslim countries, at the International Muslim Food Festival at the Al Huda Mosque in Dunedin yesterday.

The festival and open days at the mosque were part of annual Islam Awareness Week festivities.

The awareness week finished yesterday. Organisers said the open days were a chance for people to learn more about Islam and try Muslim cuisines.
