Swimmers continue to enjoy the St Clair Hot Salt Water Pool despite waves crashing over the wall at high tide this week.
Storms and high tides have forced the outdoor pool to close twice since it opened for the summer season.
Dunedin City Council aquatics manager and pool supervisor Heath Ellis said the occasional wave coming in was nothing to worry about.
"It’s only when enough water comes over that it raises the level above the filters ... that we have to start getting people out."
