Person cut free in South D crash

A person had to be cut free from a vehicle after a crash in South Dunedin this afternoon.

Police said emergency services were called to a crash at the intersection of Otaki St and Midland St about 3.30pm.

One person was trapped for a short time, but was able to be cut out of the vehicle.

St John spokesman Gerard Campbell said ambulance officers treated one patient at the scene for minor injuries and transported another with moderate injuries to Dunedin Hospital.
