A crime spree in a Dunedin suburb is continuing and police are asking residents to remain vigilant.
Senior Sergeant Ben Butterfield, of Dunedin, said a red Samsung smartphone and medication were stolen from a house in Hawthorn Ave in Mornington between 5pm on Wednesday and 10am on Thursday.
Police were keeping an open mind about who committed the crime but believed it was related to burglaries in Mornington earlier this week.
On Monday, an iPad, Xbox One and medication were stolen from houses in Porteous St and Meadow St.
People in Mornington should report any suspicious activity immediately by calling 111.
