Portobello Rd, in Dunedin, is set to reopen in full this afternoon after being closed because of a rockfall and unstable rock on the roadside cliff.
The road was first closed on July 23.
There will be closures on the road near the intersection with Marne St between 8am and 4pm while the final work is being carried out.
The Doon St detour remains in place and the shared path will continue to be open at all times.
