Possible fire in Princes St building

Fire and Emergency NZ staff investigate smoke coming from a central Dunedin building after being called to a possible fire on Saturday.

Crews were alerted at 12.48pm and went to the premises at the corner of Princes St and Dowling St following a report of smoke coming from the building.

A spokesman said the smoke appeared to be coming from an extraction vent and crews checked it out to make sure there was no fire in the ducting.
