Almost 400 homes were without power on the peninsula this afternoon after the top of a pole on Harington Point Rd was damaged.
Delta operations manager John Campbell said a member of the public rang up just after 1pm this afternoon to report the damaged pole.
He estimated about 380 Delta customers in Portobello, Cape Saunders, and Harwood were affected by the damage, including the Royal Albatross Centre.
Mr Campbell said line crews repaired the damage, and power was restored to the peninsula just before 4pm.
