The Dunedin Fringe Festival line up next year includes the 2014 Scottish comedian of the year.
Festival spokesman Tom Kitchin said the festival in March would include more than 50 shows and begin with the festival launch - the opening night showcase - at the Regent Theatre on March 11.
The ''high-energy taster'' would be headlined by 2014 Scottish comedian of the year, Bruce Fummey, who would also perform in the ''best of Scottish comedy'' show at the Fortune Theatre.
The festival would run until March 22 and include performances by Lines of Flight, New Zealand's longest-running experimental music festival, dance company Footnote Dance and Wellington theatre company Trick of the Light.
The festival programme would be released and ticket sales would open on February 13.
The 2015 festival would be the first under new director Josh Thomas.
Mr Thomas said he was ''thrilled'' with the festival programme, which had more shows confirmed than the last festival.
''There is a really great calibre of shows from local artists and from around the country and four shows coming from overseas, all of their own volition.''
