William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost has been given a makeover by Logan Park High School pupils (from left) Jimmy Robinson (16), Bruno Willis (17), Harrison Kennedy (17) and director Luke Major (17) in preparation for their performance at the National Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival in Wellington this weekend.

The quartet gave a dress rehearsal of their five-minute pupil-directed scene at Logan Park High School last night.

The comedy is set in a Dunedin student flat, where the flatmates have decided girls will be strictly off-limits during exams.

But alas, all of them seem to be in love.

Their performance was alongside a larger 15-minute teacher-directed scene from Othello, which will also be performed at the national festival.

The school's Shakespeare teams will represent Otago after dominating the Shakespeare regional competitions held at the end of term 1, winning the best teacher-directed 15-minute scene and the best pupil-directed five-minute scene.
