Slipping into port

Fog blankets Otago Harbour as HMNZS Otago sails slowly past Roseneath, headed for the Birch St wharf in Dunedin early yesterday.

The vessel would remain in Dunedin until it sailed for the Southern Ocean on Sunday to begin fishery protection patrols, a New Zealand Defence Force spokesman said.

There were no plans for a public open day during the vessel's Dunedin stopover.
