A crowd of more than 15,000 took in the sights of Dunedin's heritage gem during the Vogel St Party today.

Vogel St Party Charitable Trust chairman Brendan Christie said the party was ``great''. 

He predicted the event's third incarnation would prove to be its biggest yet with a crowd estimated at between 15,000 and 20,000.

The Cenotaph looks good, can't say much about the rest of it though just a bunch of dirty old office buildings and warehouses that should have been flattened years ago, nothing lasts forever.
