On Thursday, Sarah McKay, who lives in the area, stopped to take a picture of a charter bus from Reach Coach parked on the side of the road right next to double yellow lines.
She said tour buses parked dangerously in the road was a familiar sight since Tunnel Beach access closed in the aftermath of the October floods.
"It’s not only buses, it’s cars and all types of vehicles ... it’s not every day, but it’s definitely getting more frequent."
Ms McKay said vehicles haphazardly parked on the road were a risk to other motorists as at times traffic could not flow both ways.
She was "not surprised" this was happening, but expected better from the many tour buses not only parking there, but taking bus-loads of visitors to the closed Tunnel Beach.
"There will be people who aren’t tourists doing this as well — but you would think any professional company would be able to follow the rules," she said.
Reach Coach’s Jessie Gong confirmed Reach Coach was the company operating the vehicle and tour.
She said she forwarded the images to the driver, and let him know it was dangerous to park there.
The company had received complaints about that specific bus driver’s manner of driving before, regarding the speed at which he drove, she said.
Ms Gong would leave messages for him to drive safe in these instances.
She said it was the company’s standard to keep safe, and that went for the driver, the passengers, and the road.
"We will tell all the drivers again to drive safe," she said.
