Ms Chittock was among a group of people from Keep Dunedin Beautiful, the Dunedin City Council, Bunnings Warehouse and Taskforce Green who beautified a walking and cycle track with 139 plants.
Five types of native trees and shrubs and one non-native were planted along the track.
