A police spokeswoman said they were alerted to the crash, near the corner of Orbell and Fea Sts, at about 3.30pm.
The vehicle was discovered by a member of the public after it had already crashed.
"It appears no-one was with the vehicle but the driver has been located."
No injuries were reported, the spokeswoman said.
