The Rev Jin Sook Kim was ordained and inducted as the new minister of the Waikouaiti Presbyterian Parish last week.
She is pictured with Moderator of the Southern Presbytery the Rev Rose Luxford (left), of Oamaru, her husband, Michael King, and official guests at the ceremony at the Waikouaiti Presbyterian church.
Ms Kim undertook her theological training in Dunedin and has recently been attached to First Church.
She will serve the Waikouaiti and Karitane Presbyterian churches half-time, taking two services a month.
