A dairy shed was damaged after a fire on Green Island Bush Rd overnight.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said the fire was on a property between Blackhead Rd and Church Hill Rd.
The fire was "well-involved" when a fire crew arrived, and emergency services were alerted to the blaze about 10 minutes past midnight.
The blaze was extinguished after about half an hour, and was not being treated as suspicious.
