Police have launched an appeal for information about a nine-year-old South Auckland boy missing for the past month.
Kevin Ponini, who was in the care of Child, Youth and Family (CYF), went missing after leaving school in Clendon, Manurewa, on May 24.

Manurewa area commander Inspector Alan Shearer today appealed to the public who might know Kevin's whereabouts to come forward so he could be returned.
Police have been working with the boy's family and CYF. Police believe he may have run away of his own accord.
