One person died yesterday following a serious crash involving three vehicles in Canterbury.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Dawson Rd and Newtons Rd in Templeton, near Christchurch, about 2.45pm.
The crash involved a truck and two cars. One person died at the scene, police confirmed in a statement.
Hato Hone St John said one person was transported to Christchurch Hospital in a moderate condition.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating. — APL
