Police have closed a stretch of State Highway 35 in the eastern Bay of Plenty while they investigate a collision between a car and a pedestrian.
The incident occurred at the intersection between SH35 and Tawaroa Rd at Waihau Bay, about 100km east of Opotiki, early this morning.
Police had no further details.
