Sydney dust more like fog now: ODT reader

The red dust cloud which engulfed Sydney this morning has lost most of its colour and looks more like a fog now, according to ODT reader Carl Sagstad.

"It looks more like fog now, but everything is covered with a thin layer of orange dust," Mr Sagstad said.

The former Dunedin man supplied a photo taken from his office block in St Leonards.

"Behind the sticking-up white building (centre) is where the CBD is supposed to be and you can faintly see the Harbour Bridge on the left side."
