An article yesterday reported that Animation Research Ltd had won a contract to supply television graphics to the Nine Network, of Australia, for the next three years, and a series of other associated cricket contracts.
In it, Animation Research Ltd managing director Ian Taylor was quoted as saying he had not yet told the Dunedin City Council - which had previously provided grants to the company which enabled the successful bids to be made possible - and that "they can read about it in the paper".
The Otago Daily Times wishes to clarify that Mr Taylor had returned to New Zealand from overseas on Tuesday and spoke to the ODT later that evening. He had not had time to contact the council before the interview.
