A meeting to discuss the emissions trading scheme will be held in Palmerston on Saturday.
It has been organised by Bill Harvie, a semi-retired Nenthorn farmer, who says there is considerable concern among farmers about the scheme.
The 10am meeting will be addressed by Invermay scientist Neville Jopson and soil scientist Andrew Young.
