The Queenstown Airport Corporation's proposal of developing Wanaka airport into a second destination for direct jet flights is under fire from some locals.
A Wanaka-based Boeing 737 captain says the corporation is ignoring the possibility of building a whole new airport elsewhere in Central Otago.
